ERROR [42s22] Column Not Found

Post by Lectrician » 03 Mar 2011, 08:21

Hi, hoping someone may be able to help me!

I have converted my V10 SLY layouts to the V14.

They work with the exception of the Statement Layout which gives me this error:

ERROR [42S22] Column Not Found

No errors flag up in the error box when I preview the layout, but the pop up appears with this error.

Any idea where to look?

I have systematically removed all variables one by one until none are left, and removed any filters I can see.

I would prefer to convert the statement layout rather than have to re-create it!

Thanks in advance!

Martin.

You did the right things, there is a field of information that the report is asking for that no longer exists in the new version.

If you want to post the layout as an attachment I could have a quick look.

You have a header section called INVOICE_NUMBER this is not valid in an audit trial context.

If you delete the header it should work.

Thanks.

When I removed this header I recieved the below error instead, so assumed it had to stay.....

"No data was returned for this report."

It does this in the preview and when trying to print a statement.

Any ideas what I need to add in place of that header?

Hi, still struggling with this (when I get chance to have a look!).

When I remove the INVOICE_NUMBER header, it also removes the DATE FLAG footer. I assume this is what is casuing the "no data is being returned for this report" error?

I cannot figure out how to replace the DATE_FLAG footer?

Sorry, I don't use Sage very much, and the girl who does our accounts knows how to use it but not how to play with it as such!

Thanks for any info and pointers!

Sounds like you are out of your depth, I think you need to go on a training course to use the report designer or hire someone to do it for you.
