Hi,
I have created an layout for invoices and I have modified it to be a sales order layout. I have removed all references to invoices and replaced them with sales order references. When I test it out in the report designer it works beautifully. However, it doesn't appear in sage in the right place. It still appears in the list of invoice layouts rather than the sales order layouts. What do I have to do to get it to appear in the right place?
Regards,
Lance

Re: Creating a layout template
I am not sure what you are doing will work, the layouts themselves have hidden tags in them to identify the type of document they are.
Short of a binary hack, your best bet is to create a new layout

Oh pity.
Thanks for the reply. I'll just have to create a new layout. It's all report designer experience!
