Report Designer and Email Line Breaks

I'm having a problem when emailing out invoices.
The problem is with the Email Options -> (with the following note) section.
I put my covering email in that bit and use line breaks - I've tried both enter and shift-enter. The line breaks appear and all is well. I click OK which saves that section.
I can go back in and the line breaks are still there. So I save the report.
BUT
Whenever I go back into the report all of the line breaks have gone, and the "with the following note" is all on one line - ie, no line breaks.
Has anyone seen this before and does anyone know how to get it working as expected?
I am using Sage 50 Accounts Plus 2011.
