Hi can anyone help me with profit reports?
I'm running Sage Instant Accounts V16. I can see the profit for individual invoices but I can't seem to run a report that shows my product profit for the month or any transaction period.
When I go to Products>Reports>Product Profit Reports> I only get the choice of: product profitability % based on cost price or product profitability % based on sales price. Neither of these will give me a drill down date option to enable me to choose my transaction period.
Is there any way of doing this? I have noticed on another topic that other users can do this:
Products>Reports>ProductProfitReports>ProductPeriodProfit(by transaction) Report.
Why can't I see that option?
Can anyone help me?
Thank you
Sandi

Re: Product Profit Reports
Not all the reports ae included in instant, you could try copying this file into the correct reports sub directory and seeing if it works.

Re: Product Profit Reports
Just checked this out and the standard report is locked.
Here is a version that should work.
You need to copy it (maybe overwriting an existing copy) to the reports directory as follows
Local report - Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Accounts\2011\Company.000\Reports\Products\Product Profit Reports
Local Reports Win7/Vista
C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2011\Company.000\Reports\Products\Product Profit Reports
using datapath for reports
\\My Datapath\MySageShare\Reports\Products\Product Profit Reports
Note that in the first two examples the Application Data and ProgramData folders are hidden, you need to turn on the feature in windows explorer to make hidden folders visible or type the path in the address bar if you have enabled the address toolbar.
