Hi,

Hope i've posted this in the right forum.

I have been asked to try and locate a stock managment tool to use with Sage 50 which contains things such as predictive ordering and multiple warehouse managment.

Ideally this would be used on one computer by one user (me!).

So far all I am able to find is bigger more expensive packages (e.g. Orderwise) which contain these things but are really designed to be used with multiple users and across the entire company.

Does anyone know if there is software avaliable which just looks after stock managment, does not necesitate the software to be used by multiple network users and is relativley cheap?

Hope i've been clear but please let me know if you need futher clarification.

Sage has automatic ordering.

Predictive ordering would be very specific to your company, as your way of predicting stock is different to everyone else. I have done this sort of bespoke thing in the past.

Multi location stock is not easy to do in Sage, there have been a couple of Add ons in the past that have done it, to varying degrees. I think InnVan is probably the only one still running.

The alternative is to set up stock code for each warehouse. This can work well, again you might want a bespoke tool to help do the transfers between warehouses.
