Sage 50 upgrade

Post by anya.yang » 08 Jan 2010, 13:47

Hi, I'm currently using Sage 50 Version 12.01. Just wondering if it is essential to upgrade my programme version?

The sales person said I'm 3 versions behind and definitely need to upgrade sometime, sooner or later, otherwise there will be no support in the future.

Any advice please?

Thanks.

Sage no longer support all versions, they only support recent versions, as such they make versions go "end of life".

When a product goes end of life, it is no longer supported by Sage. It will still work.

When the product goes end of life, you can no longer buy an upgrade, you have to buy SageCover Extra to get the upgrade.
This means upgrades become more expensive once your product goes end of life.

As with all sales people they will always try and persuade you to buy now.
If you want to buy an upgrade, I guarantee a better price than Sage direct.
