Problem opening Customer and Supplier Records

Hi there we have a problem with our Sage Line 50 2007 V13.02.30.0144
We recently installed two new machines with the Windows 7 operating system.
I reloaded Sage, applied updates 3 & 4 and from this point when we double click a supplier or customer record it launches a blank 'new' record waiting to be filled in. if I click the drop down button on the side of A/C I can view and select my accounts from there however it is not desirable to be selecting the record then having to trawl through the accounts to the correct one.
Any suggestions on why this is happening would be greatfully received thanks

Further developments upon some more investigation - the record knows it is in the correct account as it displays activity for the account but will not prefill with the customers address details.
