Hi,

Soes SAGE line 50 offer Reversing Journals?

When previously using JD Edwards there was a tickbox you could use that would ensure Journals entered in, say June, would automatically reverse 1st July.

I know there is a "Reversing Journals" section in the help menu but that appears aimed at incorrectly entered journals.

On a separate point, thanks for your reply to the "Image in an Invoice question" received 1 Aug.

JD Edwards and Sage Line 50 are very different products.

Line 50 does have a reversing journal feature, unfortunately it reverses it on the same date, which is useless for what you want to do!

On a more positive note, you can post the reversal of your journals manually at the same time as you do your journal, because Sage is date sensitive, the reversal appears in the next period if you use the next period.

Reversing at the same time as posting makes it easier to resolve reversal problems, but may confuse some people. Think about it and if you are happy try it out.
