Sounds like it is not asking you for a path, so is using the default path and this may be wrong.
You can setup a separate DSN you can specify the path and it should work.
or
You can configure the default driver to have the correct path.
I tend to configure it/refresh it using a bit of VBA because you can avoid the ODBC dialogue and having to click ok all the time.
It also makes it a piece of cake, to change versions/paths/passwords etc.
