v13.02 - SETUP.DTA error???

Post by slm » 11 Apr 2007, 10:11

Hi all,

I have Sage Line 50 v13.02 installed with all the latest updates, on a server running windows server 2003, on which I have terminal services installed.

When trying to run Sage using a TS connection it launches but then just gets stuck saying "Waiting to open file: SETUP.DTA" !

In the event log, whenever this occured there seemed to be a .NET Runtime related event, however I have installed a patch to overcome this, which has stopped the error appearing in the log, but sage is still not running as it should.

The only way it will run, is if the user is given administrator rights - which ideally, I don't want to do!!

Any ideas??? I would be very grateful!

Thank You,

Sarah

Sage do not support the program in the environment in which you are running it.

Many people are running it under TS. Access rights is the normal problem, sage writes to several places, the installations directory, common files, windows and the data directory.
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.
