Login and error correction

Post by bignige » 05 Mar 2010, 09:07

Hi

We are an 8 user business - nobody can login! Last night a colleague was doing some error corrections and the machine froze.

Now this morning nobody can login and we get an error stating that 'YOU CANNOT LOGIN BECAUSE JAN IS MAKING ERROR CORRECTIONS ON MACHINE 213'

How do we access the system?

N

Try removing your QUEUE.DTA file.

On the server go to the following directory C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\ACCDATA

And rename QUEUE.DTA to something like QUEUEOLD.DTA (Just in case you need to restore it), Sage will recreate this when you boot the program up.

Let me know if this works for you.

Files are in different places nowadays.

I would need to know what operating system you were running and what version of Sage 50 you were running to help you.
