I am using Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2012. I have a customer list of approximately 700 companies and I am in the process of setting up cost prices and sales prices for approximately 3000 products. I need help with the following:
1. Are you able to select a group of products and add a % to the cost price to automatically generate sale price?
2. I have set up a Price List and added a customer to it, however I seem unable to print a specific price list, of all 3000 products for 1 customer. Is this a feature that I am able to achieve with my current package, or do I need to purchase an add on software package?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. No What you can to is to import price lists and generate the imported list in excel, using the products / categories etc from Sage
2. In products you will find lots of price list reports.
I suggest you carefully consider using price lists they can become very complicated to administer, especially if using a lot of customer fixed price lists, if the price of a product group goes up, how do you get the change on all the price lists how do you override the fixed prices and so on.
Doing individual special deals on a product to get an individual customer on board is great, but revising the pricing is hard work when you have hundreds of special deals on hundreds of customers, your want to get them back onto a standard price list as soon as you can.
If you are going to have a large number of customers with a large number of fixed prices you need to consider in advance how you will revise these in future. The sage import is great for setting up a couple of lists, but if you have lots it is a right pain.
We use an importing tool to update customer price lists from excel spreadsheets with some customers.
