What is the Invoices folder in data folder?

Post by kxcww » 16 Sep 2013, 12:08

What is the Invoices folder for located at Company.000\INVOICES? I ask because I have two nearly identical files in the folder which is causing an error when I try to copy the folder to a new location.

I have a file called Company.000\INVOICES\VAT.INV and a second one called Company.000\INVOICES\ VAT.INV

Notice the only difference is a leading "space" in the file name of the second file. The files happily co-exist on our network share, but when I try to move the folder, Windows file explorer sees it as a duplicate file and errors.

I am pretty sure that these are leftovers from a previous version of Sage.

They are "Memorised" invoices.

They should now be in a database rather than stored as template files so you should be able to delete them.
