Customer addresses not transferring to order
Hi
We've been having issues today whereby when we create a new order and select a customer the address doesn't automatically fill onto the Sales Order. This is happening for existing customers who we have previously created new orders for in the same way without any issue.
When I go onto the Customer Record and click Addresses & Contacts there are no addresses set-up in there but there are address details on the main details tab of the record.
We are using Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2013 version 19.01.11.285.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Re: Customer addresses not transferring to order
There were no errors. I've tried reindexing and compressing the sales orders and that seems to have worked for now...

OK so the problem isn't fixed. I don't think the issue is to do with the sales order, it is just that the addresses have disappeared from the customer record.

Re: Customer addresses not transferring to order
If the addresses are blank then there is nothing wrong, it IS transferring the blank addresses onto the order.
You need to resolve the issue with blank addresses.

Re: Customer addresses not transferring to order
The addresses could be removed by doing a bulk update or an import. Have you done either of these?
The way I would fix this is to
backup the data
restore the last good data
export customer details using the "Customer Record CSV extended" report (save as CSV)
restore the data with the adresses missing
import the customer records from the CSV file made earlier.

Re: Customer addresses not transferring to order
They have not disappeared per se, they have been overwritten/blanked out, most likely by either an import or a bulk change.
There is no way to tell the actual cause.
