Hello all.
I've recently got a new PC with windows 8 64 bit.
At the moment when ever I try and type in a product number in 'Product sales order' or 'Products' it hangs for anything between 5-30 seconds.
When I first installed I had to manually install the ODBC drivers so I'm not sure if it is something to do with this?
So far I've tried doing a repair and reinstalling the ODBC Drivers.
Sage is on a sever running Windows server 2003 and it is feeding about 5 PCs.
The specs are as follows.
Sage V12 12.00.0018
Windows pro 8 64 bit
Intel i3
8gb DDR3 ram
120gb SSD
If anybody has advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: v12 Freezing when going through products.
Do a clean reinstall.
DO NOT let it install it where it wants.
Install it to C:\Sage
There will be significant parts that will not work because of incompatibilities between 32bit drivers and 64 bit drivers.
You could create a virtual XP machine in W7 and I am not sure if that is still an option with W8
You could always upgrade to a product supported for use under W8.
Edit: it appears you can run XP virtual machine

Thank's for the reply.
This morning I went ahead I did a reinstall and installed the service packs. All seems to be going smooth so far. It's a bit of a mystery why it was doing it in the first place.
