System Crash

Post by mel1840 » 03 Nov 2012, 19:18

We had intermittent power cuts last night that lasted a few seconds. I was working in Sage at the time. Managed to get back in on two occasions but when I went to get back in after 4th power cut it takes me to where I select my company enter user name and password but then it just goes back to my desktop any ideas?????? I have tried to rename the Que.Data file but still not working. I am using version Sage 50 2010 v.16.0 and and am using Window 7

Sound like data corruption, have you got a backup?

Just uninstalling will not help as Sage leaves the data in place when you uninstall.

The quick and easy way to fix this is to copy the demodata over the broken data, you can then log in and do a normal restore.
