Create a credit for an incorrect price without moving stock

How do I raise a product credit note to amend a pricing error without moving stock back. Example we raised an invoice for 10 pieces at £10 each but the correct price is only £5, so I need to raise a credit note for £50 against the product code but without putting a number in the quantity otherwise it will put the product back into stock.
