Locked Reports

Post by tonycox » 08 Sep 2011, 12:13

Hi

I have been trying to modify a BOM report in 2011 pro, but the file is locked ( read only ) why is this ? When I look in file manager it is not read only, so it must be locked somehow by Sage.
Can anybody help with this

Thanks

Tony

"a BOM report" Can you say which report is it and I will see if I can reproduce the issue.

Thanks

It is PRDEXPL.report, at the bottom right on the toolbar it shows a lock which indicates "read only " ??

I have noticed that if I save a copy with a different name it puts in the "My Products Reports" folder which works ok

Regards

Tony

If you do file>save as and save it with a different file you should be ok. All the standard reports are now protected like this so you can always go back to something that is a good copy and so that Sage can overwrite them with new versions with upgrades,
