Need Some advise to this Newbie

Post by krishhi » 08 Sep 2011, 11:03

Hi Experts,

I am newbie in SAGE 50 Accounts, Bascially I am a freelancer, Yesterday i got a client who is looking tho help on a SAGE 50 ACCOUNT.

He has given me a File with extention .000. I researched and came to know that it is a backup file from SAGE 50.

Luckiy, My cousin who is working as a Accouts Manager in a MNC has SAGE 50 installed in his system. SO, I thought my problem will be cleared but unfortunately he went to Austrilia on behalf of his office work, then again my problem starts.

By the way, I am also commerce Graduate I know accounting principles and functions. So, I want to open the file my self, but I don't know how to Open the file.

So, I am here, Any one here know how to open the .000 file and How to edit the file?

Waiting for your Kind Reply,

Thanks,

Krrish

Sage backups normally have an extension of 001 rather than 000. Assuming that the .000 file is a sage backup then the only way it can be accessed is by restoring it into a copy of Sage 50.
