New install won't accept default user and password

Post by jim225 » 24 Jul 2011, 18:03

Hi

I've installed Sage 50 v10 on my new pc. It is Windows 7 32bit.

I've installed it in C:\Sage.

When I try to restore from a backup I have to enter the username and password which should be the default (user - manager, no password) I get the message that the password is incorrect.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Sounds like a known issue with v10 - there is a thread here: viewtopic.php?t=32 that explains the problem and includes a link to an update for v10 that solves the problem.
