Auditing users in Sage 2010

Post by razzy » 02 Apr 2011, 22:34

Hi Guys

i'm new to Sage. Can anyone tell me whether there is any way to check which user logged into sage and when they have. ie a user audit trail, detailing which user and time and date.

thanks

There is not

You can see in the audit trail who posted a transaction and you can also see the date it was done.
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.

Yes there is albeit it is not switched on by default.

You need to log on as MANAGER then go to Tools -> Event Log, select Settings and change to '3 - Information'. From there on, every user logon and logoff is logged and can be checked by going back to Tools -> Event Log.
