Attachments in a memos

Hi All
I have sage 50 professional 2009
i am having a problem with attachments in the memo section. I can not make an attachments in the project or suppliers section but i can in the customer section. The attachment button is grayed out and not selectable also there is a message at the top of the memo page saying that "Attachments are not possible on new accounts" these are not new accounts.
Can you help

Please read this viewtopic.php?f=1&t=49

Can you confirm you have full access right to the whole of your data path

Navigate in windows exploer to the folder above ACCDATA go into the ATTACHMENTS folder
In there you should find a folder for each type of attachment Customer,Supplier,Product,Project and Nominal

Go into each folder in turn and check that you can create a folder

When you have done that go back and that in that in each of the folders you made you can copy a file into.
