Hi,
We've just upgraded from Client Manager to Accounts Professional 2009. While doing this we found a number of data corruptions that couldn't be resolved. So we extracted the data to .csv, deleted the works and imported the .csv back again.
However, after we'd done this we discovered that the No Bank Reconciliation option was ticked on the default bank account. This is greyed out so it's not just a matter of unticking the box unfortunately.
Is there any way I can solve this, without opening a new bank account and moving the data over?
Cheers,
Emily

Re: Bank Rec
If you have used the Cash Register account, then there is not much you can do, once there are transactions on it, you can't change it and there is no way to change the flag.
There are 3 possible solutions.
1/ Get sage to fix it for you, no idea how much this would cost, I guess dependant on the cover you have.
2/ Re do the import, this is simple and you know how to do it. Just change the Cash Register account before you do the import.
3/ Hack the data files to change the sequence. If I were to do this I would expect it to take a between n hour and an hour an a half, so a cost of around £50-£75.
