The check box for cash accounting is not highlighted, I have re-built data and still no joy, any ideas???

What is the problem?
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.

I have no idea what the problem is thats why I want your help. I have tried rebuilding data just keeping customer and stock records and also doing a complete rebuild keeping nothing but I can still not highlight vat cash accounting in company settings.

Please confirm:

Your problem is "you can not highlight the box for Vat Cash accounting"
You are an existing company that has been running Standard accounting in the past and are not try to switch to cash accounting.
The version of Sage 50 are you running Help>About you get a version number in the format xx.xx.xxxx
You have run a final vat return under Standard accounting and have reconciled all transactions.
You included and unreconciled transactions brought forward from a previous period in your final VAT return
You have no future dated transactions.

Hello yes I think I have done everything you have said. The version is 16.00.17.0154

I am pretty sure that you will have missed one of them.

If you click on the flag, does a dialogue box pop up, it has to go through every transaction it the audit trail so could take 20+ mins?
