Printing P32 - Instant Accounts

Using Instant Accounts (latest version).

I have just processed my first payroll of 2010/2011. As usual completed the payroll process (printed payroll reports summaries for NI and PAYE, and printed payslips), and then clicked to “finish payroll” and printed the Payroll Audit Trail also.

However then I have gone to the Employer tab to print the P32 for the month, only to be told there is “no information found for this report. Unable to create temporary table:”

I thought it might be because I “finished” payroll too early, and so loaded a restore and tried to do it before the “finishing” but this did not work either.

Does anyone know what this issue might be.

Ok, have got the answer / spoken to Sage (not always the same thing).

Sage Instant Accounts only does one year at a time. When you install the update for 2010/2011 it wipes the previous details and you start again.

This is a right pain - it really wouldn't have killed them to have said something. But I guess I shouldn't need those details as I've completed the Year End and kept all my records. Just means I'll have to re-enter all the employees again...grrr

We have a similar problem. Didn't pay to get sage updated so used HM Revenue site and entered allowances into sage and now after year end it won't print out P32. Appears to be doing everything else ok. I phoned Sage and they said we either need to buy update or update ourselves but we have! Any ideas.

we have same problem, again phoned sage and they said buy update!! but if anyone knows a way around it that would be great.

I have updated my version of Sage Instant Payroll myself this year and am having exactly the same problem. It is really weird because the other reports are fine. I must say, I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Sage and resent having to splash out every year just to make adjustments to government legislation.
