Post by fifs11 » 15 Jan 2010, 11:52

nominal codes with no transactions can not appear in the TB as there is no data to report on, you could enter a dummy transaction and it's reverse to force a transaction on each nominal so they could be reported on.

The transactional TB report DOES report zero value accounts, however, by default it reports them as "blank" rather than 0 so you might need to tweak the report if you want to have an actual 0 appear (Would it be a credit or a debit?)

Thats great, Bruce, thanks for this, but i was looking for a report which I used to run and then just drop into a spread sheet which has my accounts set up. Its ages since I've done this and I seem to have forgotten the report I used - its now driving me nuts having to key in each line individually to the spreadsheet.

Any of this ring any bells?

Cheers

That would not be very easy to do. It would have to merge data together.

The only way you could do it would be to take the account balances and add them up.

doing it in a report and then transfering to Sage is really messy when you can use odbc or EIR to just link to the data
