Upgrade from Sage line 50 v7

Post by mastermars2 » 05 Nov 2009, 09:20

Hello,

We have used sage line 50 v7 for many years and have recently upgraded to sage 50 v16. We are a small company and the lady who did the accounts has left coming back for 2-3 hrs a week to give me some training.

US Dollars are our main trading currency, but the way we did things on v7 was all transactions were converted into GB Pounds when entered into sage this was fine for the accounts side but I would like to start using the SOP and POP and most of this needs to be in USD. I ran the foreign Bank wizard on v16 and see that we can now enter transactions in US Dollars.

My question is how do I start using the USD side, I can convert customer and suppliers to USD if they have no transactions but how do I change customers with active transactions ? The currency Bank account (which is our USD Account) has all been covered into GB pounds ,how can I move over the US Dollar bank account showing the correct US Vaule

Many thanks for any help you can give.

Thanks
Sean
