Im an IT guy, and have inheritied a sage installation in the accounts department.
Now there set up seems to be, one Sage setup is the master, and the other computer shares this somehow.
Now im new at this and have no idea how to replicate this.
we got them new computers and im trying to set them up.
can anyone help me?

Ok, IT Guy. Sage version and OS would really help here, but...
Backup your existing Sage data.
Install Sage on the new "server". Choose where the data is going to go, and share it; whoever accesses it needs full access. Fill in the active setup wizard with rubbish. Restore the backup you made above.
Now install Sage on the workstations. Map a drive to the share on the "server". Run the active setup wizard and search for an existing set of data, or edit the company file directly.
The problem is the location of the company file differs wildly depending on version and OS... Feel free to PM if that doesn't work.
