Prepayments and Accruals

Hi there,

I'm new to sage, i was just wondering when setting up a prepayment using the prepay option in the nominal ledger, do you have to post the full payment aswel as doing this, or will just settin up the prepayment surfice?

Does the same apply for accruals?

It moves the full amount then drips it back or it saves it up and then reverses it when the item comes in.
