default date

Post by jaynerowswell » 28 Jul 2006, 14:50

I have Sage Line 50 version 9. Just out of the blue last week, when entering purchase invoices under 'suppliers', the date kept going back to todays date but year 2000. Also, the default date says 2000 and won't be changed. However, the date along the bottom right is correct. Computer date correct too.

We have Windows XP.

It's a real problem. Can anyone sort this?

Two things come to mind.

That the date has been "set" using the change program date option in line 50, logging out and back in again should fix that.

The other would be regional settings might be causing the problems.

I suggest checking that they are set to show the year in full ie dd/mm/yyyy not dd/mm/yy

Probably worth checking that using the "change program date" option in Line 50 you can set the date correctly.
