Power Cut - Can't get into Line 50

Post by von.zeloviak » 06 Nov 2008, 11:18

We had a power cut yesterday & Line 50 was running at the time. Now, when I try to lauch Line 50, I get the following message & can't access it:

"Username is already recorded as logged in on another computer.

To log in with this username you must first ensure that the active session is closed."

Under this message is an "OK" button which is my only option - the programme then closes.

I only have the one username so can't log on with another but obviously, need to get back into the programme!!

I'm running Windows 2000 professional & Line 50 is V11.01

Any help would be really appreciated :?

Thanks,
Yvonne

Hi,

I'd already tried that - there was no "Queue.dta" file in the AccData!!

I did eventually find a link to updates issued by Sage which I downloaded & installed which have fixed the problem...hopefully for good!! :)
I love the irony that they can call me & email me trying to sell me new software...but couldn't be bothered to advise me that there was a problem with the software version I already had & email me the solution!!

Here's the link for anyone else in the same situation:

http://www.sage.ie/Support/line50/Downloads.asp

I installed "Hotfix 2" & "Service Pack 2" for v11.01 which I was able to install into the programme files even though I couldn't access the programme.

Hope this is of use to others!

Yvonne
