Does anybody know a back door into the manager log in.
We started using sageline 50 some years ago and since then, we have not had to use the manager log in to edit passwords.
Now after many years, we have found that we have forgotten what we changed it to. Its not ' ' as in the installation.
We have had staff leave and join us but we cannot change any passwords / log ins. Its a pain that Lyn has had to log in as Janet for the last 12 months.
We could reinstall the package on the server but as we would have to use our backed up data to restore our company details and everything else, we will end up with the same passwords.

If you are on an old version (I think it was 9 or 10 when they changed) , I can decrypt the password.
Otherwise you will have to get Sage to do it.
