I'm using sage lin 50 v9 on a standalone pc. Is there any way to bypass the sage login prompt?

That would normally only happen if you were running multi company, perhaps there is a strange entry in the company file that needs clearing out?

The company file is called company, it has no file extension and you can edit it with notepad.

In v9 it is almost certainly in your local sage installation directory.

Try deleting the bit of "junk" on the second line

switch off access rights and see if it stays off now.

C:\PROGRAM FILES\SAGE\ACCOUNT
C:\PROGRAM FILES\SAGE\ACCOUNTS

when i delete junk and login I am prompted to select a company. the company file now shows above.
line 1 says invalid dir and line 2 are my accounts. the accress rights remains ticked and stil prompted for username.

edit the file so it contains nothing but

C:\PROGRAM FILES\SAGE\ACCOUNTS

with one blank line after it.
