Exporting All Supplier Info

Post by NotSage » 10 Sep 2008, 17:02

Is it possible to export all supplier data to excel. When I save it as Excel it doesn not save the Bank (or other similar) details.

I am not sure what version you are on but in Line 50 2009 Supplier module ~ Reports ~ Supplier Details and run Pl_Ledg2.report and save it as a .csv file.

This seems to put the information into one line whereas exporting it via excel makes it look like a report. I must admit you may have to sift through the information exported as when I tried it there were some strange figures in there but at least the bank info comes out including the IBAN etc.

Hopefully, someone else may come along and make a better suggestion.

any report can be saved as CSV and then opened in excel as rows/columns of data. (much more useful than the excel export in some ways)

If the fields you want are not on the report, add them in with the report designer.

I suggest using one of the Supplier details reports as a starting point.
