Sage disappearing after login

We have a new problem with Sage.

After a user logins as normal Sage does not open as per usual but just disappears. We are using version 12

Any ideas

Sounds like the Desktop issue that was resolve by a patch, have you applied all the latest patches.

(I think the sage site is down for patches at the moment, they are "remodelling it" you might have to ring sage and ask them to email them to you.

We had this problem before but our IT person at the time resolved it

He has since moved on .

What patch / hotfix no resolved this ?

No idea which patch fixes it, sage have made it very difficult to see what is addresses by patches, with thier new website design.

You need to apply the service pack and several hot fixes.

Your version number should be 12.01.0070 or higher

Hi I have applied the latest hotfix and updated to version 12.70 but sage is still disappearing after I login.

No I applied the latest hot fix version 70

Thought that this hot fix included all the latest other hot fixes

I think the fix you want is a file called sbddesktopinstallerl50v12.exe described as the SBDDesktop Installer Utility

Have created a login and gone to the area you mentioned.

However there is nothing in the drop down box to select from

Before clicking Go

I have downloaded the update suggested and installed it on the server Pc in question but to no avail - the problem is still occurring

Yes - we are using Sage over a VPN - was working OK now not working

Is this a network installation or a single user installation?

Just when using over the VPN link or when a user logs on the workstation locally
Is the sage user able to log in at other workstations?
Yes
