I have just completed my end of yea but want to run reports from the data. How do I do this?

You can't... well you can but it is not as easy.
If you use the "transactional" reports you can
If you ticked the box to create and archive, then you can open the archive and run the reports normally from there.

How do I access archived reports?

You access the archived data set. This is a snap shot of the data before the year end was done, so all reports will work.
File>Open>Company Archive

Previous year reports
I have a back up on a portable had drive but have changed the "open with" and can't remember what it was. It was something like concor. Do you know what this is? I can't open the backup at th moment because I don't know what programme to use to opn it. HELP!

Backups are normally have .001 file extensions.
you do not open them from windows explorer but from the restore option inside sage 50. there is no file association
