My foreign currency bank accounts that have had transactions entered have changed to sterling after we had a new server installed. Bank accounts now locked as sterling. Can anyone help? Please!

Sage Version: v28 UK/Europe/Africa

Hi Sally

This is a known "feature" and there is a fix.

You don't say which version you are using, however, if you go to the updates site and download and install all the updates.

http://www.sage.co.uk/updates/Line50.aspx

I guess you are using Version 10

Sage Hotfix 7 will solve the problem

After installation there will be a utility SageBankCurrencyChecker.exe that fixed things (It will be in your program directory Default is C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\).

Backup before you do it and get everyone else out.

It is a slow process so best to install and run on the machine hosting the data.

There is not a lot of feedback from the software, leave it to run.

Thank you so much for this. As you correctly assume I am using v.10.

You have saved my sanity!
