Hi all
My boss wants me to set up Sage Line 50 (Version 12) so that if he is away from the office he can access it and any work he does on it is saved, then if the accounts people at the office opens it then they are working with the new data he has inputted. Currently if he enters data he backs it up and sends disk into office so they can update their data, but this is impractical if he is working overseas.
I rang sage helpline and they mentioned the use of a VPN but couldn't tell me anymore.
How do others work with Sage Line 50 when the people accessing it and updating it are not physically connected, but may be in different areas of the country or the world.
Is VPN the best way, is it easy to set up ... any help files or advice very much appreciated.

You need some sort of remote access, Sage will not run over a WAN.
I have seen all sorts of solutions work.
