sage data size
sage data size
My VAT return report is not able to export in Excel, giving the error - Exception of type- 'System.OutofMemoryException' was thrown
Even Nominal code transaction reports also give the same error.
Is it an issue because of the sage data size?
My database has 55366 invoices.

Re: sage data size
It is a memory error, using the 64bit version of 30.1 would, I expect resolve it.
I find export to excel to be very handy with small amounts of data, but with large amounts it is very very slow.
You might find it easier/faster to save one of the printable reports as csv/xls and open that.

There is no 64 bit version of Sage until V30
Go to the vat return you want to send to excel
Click on the print button in the bottom left
Select the report that has the data you want to get into excel.
Choose output to file
Press Run
Choose the format you want to save in csv/excel
open the file saved in excel.

Re: sage data size
After press run, it is not giving option to choose the format. It is directly saving in .htm format.

Re: sage data size
The default is html but there is a drop down to select other formats, this is the same for all reports.
