Prefilled 'to' Date in criteria defaults to 2019

Hi,

We have Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2010 Version: 16.0.4.113

When running certain reports (such as Audit Trails) the Criteria Value 'Transaction Date', end date defaults to 31/12/2019, is it possible to change this using the reports designer, I have had a dig around bit cannot see how or where this date is prepopulated from.

To set the default criteria in any report.

Open the report in the report designer.

Got to Report>Criteria

Select the range you want to alter the default for and press modify.

Now change the Status from Enabled to Preset and press ok

It will now prompt you to enter the Preset values, these are going to become the defaults so enter the date you want and press ok

Now change the Status from Preset back to Enabled and press ok

Save the report and try it out.

Thanks, thats very helpful, setting a YE date works a treat.

To set the date range to include all trans. up to the current date, as with the 'From' Date being preset to 1980', the 'to' could be any date in say 2030. Back in 2010 Sage must have assumed we would all be living on Mars by 2019.

You can go as late as the version of sage you use supports.

31/12/2999 would be good
