Multiple Chart of Accounts

Post by Lynz » 27 Jul 2007, 21:40

Hi, I'm setting up a new sage system (Sage Line 50 Accountant v12) for a client and they require multiple charts of accounts.

I have set up all the nominal codes and details of all the COAs which has allowed me to access P&L reports for each COA I have created. However, when I try and print any of the COAs it just amalgamates them together which isn't very useful.

I've found something in the manual about if you need to create more than one COA then you need to create more than one configuration but then it doesn't expand on this!

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Does the report prompt you for the layout number?

It might be that you have and altered version of the report.

Look in REPORTS directory for CATLIST.SRT the created date on mine is 22 Aug 2005.

Make sure you look in the right location if you have a network version as report could be local or in the data path depending on your settings.

If you need I can email you a clean copy.
