When you try installing to these servers, Sage will prevent you, it is seemingly impossible.
But we never let that get in our way.
This is "as is" that is to say, it works today, it might not work after the next update or with the next release of Sage but it has done for some time.
I will delete this post as soon as someone points out it is wrong.
I start by clearing out all the temporary files
Open file explorer type %temp% in the address bar to go to the temporary files folder and delete everything, typically a few things will not delete, so skip them.
Run the installer, and when it comes up with the error saying it can not install close it, go back to the temporary folder
You will now have a new folder called Sage Accounts
Depending on your version you may have a file called installv.exe in the directory - If you do run it and it will install fine.
If you don't then you need to install the program in parts. In the packages directory are installers for each of the component parts, the data service, the client, the ODBC and the Report Writer. Run each installer in sequence and that is it!
If you get errors about c++ runtime libraries, install them from the redist directory or download and install the full package using the link below.
