Invalid or missing suspense account

Post by solo282 » 03 Jul 2007, 09:10

Dear All, Please help i'm a new user of sage line 50 Financial Controller.
I have a small problem , that when ever i selecting the new Option from Customers or suppliers area the following error message is appearing and nothing happens . You have to click on to record, put in an account that is new, then continue registering the data. The accountant has left the company and i took over. Now the error message is Invalid or missing suspense account. Chart of accounts is ok and it has no errors and there is a suspense account with the n/L 9999 Suspense account. Do i need to link it somewhere ???

Your help will be appriciated
Regards
