If you go to untick the Validate VAT numbers box in Sage 50
(This is needed as a workaround to the Irish 9 digit VAT number issue)
You may find that the box is greyed out.
This happens if you have e-submissiones enabled. If you deselect e-submissions you will be able to change the flag.
