Service invoice prints details on multiple pages

I am using sage 50 v25.1.128.0 on windows 10 64 bit. I have edited the headers and footers on a plain paper invoice layout and find the details section prints 4 lines of text with the £totals per page. The original layout copes with at least 4 times this amount on the first page. What have I done wrong? When I compare the two layouts I cannot spot any appreciable difference in the details section. Thanks
