Product Labels Printing All Records

Post by steverwhyte » 19 Sep 2016, 10:22

Hi,
I have just "designed" a new product label showing only the barcode and the stock code. When I went through the wizard, I removed all of the suggested criteria, but now the report prints a label for all of our 13,000 plus products and not just those highlighted in the product module. I have tried adding the stock code to the criteria, but it is still printing all records even when a filter is applied to the stock list. Is there a way to ensure only highlighted or filtered records are printed?
Thanks,
Steve

There is an "undocumented" feature, or at least if it is documented I have never seen it.

The Criterion name has to be the "Field" name and then it works...

By default when you add the stock code as a Criterion it is given the name STOCK_STOCK_CODE

If you change it to have the name STOCK_CODE it will then use any selection done on screen as a filter (even if the criteria are disabled)

Same goes with ACCOUNT_REF in the Customer and Supplier Modules INVOICE_NUMBER in Invoicing etc.
