I have just joined a company and have been thrown in at the deep end with sage line 50 (not used it before) The problem i have is that i'm doing the year end and when i have printed out the balance sheet it doesn't balance. I have checked that the sales ledger and purchase ledger are in balance but i don't know what else to check?
Can anyone help?

First stop check for data corruption
File>Maintenance>Check Data
Second stop Do a TB and check that balances
Third stop, check your CoA (Chart of Accounts) for errors
Nominal>COA>(select)-Edit>Check
Come back here if you still can't resolve it...
