Sage Line 50

Post by Smiler_Sg » 11 May 2006, 06:14

Hi,

Im trying to Install Sage Line50 for a client, but the client only wants all users to have user rights and not any form of admin.

I have tried to run sage using a RUNAS command, which indeed boots up sage but then although I have access to the network shares with the sage data and the elevated prillege user also has access to the same share it will not recognise that it can see the sage databases.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The users MUST have full WINDOWS access rights to the data directory on the server and their local program directory.

Users can have settings in sage set to restrict access based on the login id used to get into sage.
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.
