New v26 Error prompt on login

Post by JohnA » 30 Jun 2020, 00:55

The new prompt that you now get in v26 when you have errors before you login. Is there anyway to turn this off?

For 95% of Sage 50 users I guess this prompt is ok, forcing every user to tick a box and accept that they have errors before being able to continue.

But for any users that also use Sage 50 Manufacturing, this prompt is an absolute nightmare. The main reason is when using Sage Manufacturing you always at some point get Sage 50 stock allocation errors, which aren't a major problem and can be fixed, which we would generally fix for the client once a month when doing general maintenance work. But now because of this new prompt these stock allocation errors have to be fixed on the spot and if not every user gets that new message prompt every time they login.

If anyone knows anyway of disabling this message it would be greatly appreciated (in v25 you just ticked a box not to show the message again)

Thanks

Errors are not something to be ignored.

I would pressure Sage to fix the issue with Manufacturing causing them.
