Service Invoice line alignment

Post by Debbie T. » 04 Mar 2019, 11:30

Hi,
I often have to do service invoices and the descriptions often go onto multiple lines when printed - the issue I have is that it keeps the quantity and line total (foreign net) on the top line so its all tidy and aligned, but it drops the unit price (foreign unit) down to the last line of the description so makes it look all jumbly. Is there any way of changing this so all prices, quantities, discounts etc are always on the top line, even if the description spreads to multiple lines?
Thank you!

Hi Debbie

You need to change the "Linked Position Anchor" to be the same as the items that appear in the correct place.

Open the report in the report designer, check properties are visible (View menu has an option to show them if they are not visible) click on the field, then look in the properties window at the Linked Anchor Position (you may also need to check the Linked position) set them to the same as the fields that are correctly aligning.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Bruce - I've picked up where other people have left off with the Sage layouts so most things are all over the place but I think it's sorted now - you're a star!
